About the Artist
Hello and welcome again to my page. My name is Bethany Jennings and I am a 3D Artist and 2D illustrator. I graduated from Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design with my Bachelor's 3D Animation & Modeling in 2023, and from Howard Community College with an Associate's in Fine Arts in 2019.
While I enjoy dabbling in nearly all art forms, both traditional and digital, my focus is on character and creature design, and 3D asset modeling. I enjoy branching out into various styles and am always looking for new techniques to learn and software to try. I believe that in this age, being adaptable and open to new technology is extremely important. My work is mostly inspired by video games and anime. The vibrance and stylization of such media has always appealed to me, and I try to implement those elements into my work every day.
I come from a very artistic background, and started drawing as soon as I knew how to pick up a pencil. My love for 3D extended from my interest in video games and their art. Much of my work surrounds themes of nature and animals, both realistic and fantastical. This is because I have grown up around animals my entire life. When I am not doing art, I am spending time with my rabbit or taking walks in the woods.
I also grew up riding horses and found much solace there. My commission work picked up significantly when I started doing portraits of horses for their owners. While I do not have time to ride as much as I used to, horses are still a huge part of my soul. If you ever wonder why there are so many equines in my portfolio, now you know the answer. Besides that, I enjoy watching anime, playing bass, and traveling to new places.
